All ships will be designed in the same style of the Gatsby Lounge. So luxury, design but most of all our service will set a new standard.

About the sustainable fleet of Gatsby Cruises

• We will operate several types of vessels; An ‘IJveer’ with over 90 years of ‘experience', clippers who will be our Hop On & Hop Off ships on the river IJ, a 1920's tender who will take charge of hotel transfers and vessels who will service the canals in Amsterdam centre.
• For the canals we will have some of the most beautiful salon boats in Amsterdam, plus several Tjalks from the 1900’s.
• All canal ships will have electric propulsion.

Construction schedule Hop On & Hop Off ships

• We will start acquiring and building ships by October2020. 
• We start with a total of 10 ships, expanding to 17.
• The vessels are in service all year long, 15 to 20 hours a day.

An important 'lady'; the IJveer XIV from 1930, which (after 90 years!) again sets sail on the river IJ.

• After her re-fit she will become a luxury floating lounge with a capacity of 190 guests, perfect for larger events such as Sail Amsterdam this year.
• She has a private jetty at the NDSM yard (too big for ours).
• The NDSM yard is a tourist attraction by itself, attracting 8 mio visitors last year (free ferry leaves CS every 15m).
• We'll make sure a cold refreshment is waiting for you!
